ACTIVITIES

The port authority activities are the following (according to law):

• In charge of construction, maintenance, management, protection and development of maritime goods the port area comprises,
• In charge of construction and maintenance of port infrastructure, which is financed by the state budget of the port authority founder,
• Supervision of construction, maintenance, management and protection of the port area (such as infrastructure and superstructure of the port),
• Ensuring continuous and unobstructed port traffic, technical and technological unity and safety of navigation,
• Providing services of common interest or services that are not in interest of other economic operators,
• Coordination and supervision of concessionaires’ activities in the port area,
• Taking decisions on founding and management of free zone in the port area according to free zones regulations,
• Performing other activities as defined by the law.

Functions within business process:

• management of maritime domain use for economic purposes / work of concessionaires,
• management of behaviour of port area users – port order,
• management of maintenance and development of the port infrastructure,
• management of maintenance and development of the port superstructure.
